Our Story
“Darling, I love you, but there is no way I am wearing a Clemson shirt - nor will I be that guy who wears something garnet and black to a Clemson game.”
As a University of South Carolina graduate and an avid Gamecock fan, that was my message to my daughter, a Freshman at Clemson University. It was Parents Weekend fall of 2022.
Proud to be the parent of a child on her Clemson journey, I wanted something nice to wear at social events that would represent both schools positively. The market did not offer anything that suited what I envisioned.
During my search for co-branded merchandise in university bookstores and beyond, I became aware of a widespread issue on college campuses.
There are excellent students at major universities that do not have enough to eat. These kids have earned the opportunity for higher education, and they are hungry; literally and figuratively. Food subsidy for them comes from on campus pantry programs. Their diet often consists of canned goods and other non-perishables when they take the time to go to the pantry, frequently embarrassed with their head held low. This must be the opposite feeling of the pride that fans feel when wearing clothes representing their school.
An idea to directly fund food programs on campus was born.
FANS FEEDING EDUCATION simultaneously utilizes approved officially licensed logos of two universities on apparel. Our products provide supporters of rival schools the ability to impact an excellent cause. Over 30% of the revenue from every sale will be directed to the schools' food pantries.
Our Mission is to eliminate food insecurity on college campuses by funding programs that enable students on food subsidy to eat like the balance of the student body.
A new “NIL” we can get behind: Nourish Impact Learning.
